Is There A Fee To Participate In The Passport Program?

No, there is no fee to participate in the Wild Rivers Coast Food Trail Passport Program.


Where Do I Get A Passport?

Pick up a passport from any of the businesses on the Wild Rivers Coast Food Trail; at the Gold Beach Visitor Center; or at the Coos Bay/North Bend Visitor Center. You may also find the Passport booklets available at the hotel, campground or resort that you’re staying at, so make sure to check at the front desk.


How does getting passport stamps work?

When you visit any of the destinations listed in the booklet, let a staff member know you are a Passport participant. There is no purchase necessary to receive your stamp; still we encourage you to support these local businesses. Of course, the Passport stops appreciate your business.


Do I Get Prizes For Getting My Passport Stamped?

Yes! Once you hit 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 stamps you are eligible for different prizes. The prizes get better as you go! Only one stamp per business.


What are the prizes?

5 stamps: Durable Metal Magnet

10 stamps: Klean Kanteen Pint Glass

15 stamps: Chico Bamboo Travel Cutlery

20 stamps: Canvas Market Tote

30 stamps: Entered in drawing for an off-season weekend on the south coast


Where Do I Claim My Prizes?

Once you are eligible for a prize, simply swing by the Gold Beach Visitor Center or the Coos Bay/North Bend Visitor Center. Show your passport, answer a couple questions and get your prize!


Can I Mail My Passport or Claim Prizes Online?

Passports should not be mailed in; however, to help our travelers who can’t get into one of the two visitor centers, we allow prizes to be claimed via email. Simply take a photograph or scan the stamped pages and your “About You” page, then email it to wrcfoodtrail@gmail.com. We will ask you to fill out a short survey and then your prize will come in the mail! Prizes will be mailed out every 2 weeks.


Can more than one person from the same household earn prizes?

Yes, people in the same household can receive prizes if they collect stamps in their own Passport booklets.


Can households combine stamps from multiple booklets?

No, households cannot combine their stamps from different booklets. In order to receive all the prizes you qualify for, please collect your own stamps in your own Passport booklet. Participants must be present to receive stamps; Passport stops will not stamp booklets for people not present.
